A little about RY3 - owned by Phenomenal Spirits, also known for their amazing Gold Winning Izalco Rum. They figured out how to blend 3 distinct Mashbills and create their signature RY3 blend. They’re also getting some of the best Rye and Light Whisky barrels from MGP (IYKYK). If you see or find one of their Single Barrel Light Whiskeys - make sure you grab one, they’re unreal good.
Their new spin up with a Toasted Finish is offered only as a private barrel and we were lucky enough to get our hands on these for charity. It’s a straight sweet, melting-in-your-mouth butterscotch and caramel candy deliciousness! These are NOT offered as a regular product, so this is your chance to get one.

TASTING NOTES:
AROMA: Beautiful hints of buttery vanilla, sweet candy, butterscotch, brown sugars, and hints of sugary rum. Almost smells like a Werthers candy factory where you are surrounded by warm caramels with more hints of molasses, orange peels, baking spice, and honey.
TASTE: This is such a glorious candy taste that just completely coats the palate entirely with such a viscous mouthfeel. It’s a beautiful marriage of vanilla, butterscotch, werthers caramel candy, honey, with a light touch of dark chocolate and honey. Lovely toasty marshmallows and spices come through which is one of our favorite parts of toasted finishes. This can definitely be enjoyed on a cool evening paired with a light - medium cigar and sure fire crowd pleaser.
FINISH: The finish is warm, buttery, and viscous with a long lingering hug. Even more butterscotch and caramels with some cinnamon, and more honey caramels. This is just so GD good, and almost can’t believe they pulled this off with this blend. After the finish we are certainly reminded why we are calling this CandyLand. Just a gorgeous and well done blend that deserves attention.
