ABOUT AMBURANA - If you've never had before this finish is very unique, exotic and considered by several like a "cigar" batch for it's flavors. Brazilian Amburana is a hardwood native to South America, being used most often to age cachaça, a fermented sugarcane beverage similar to rum. Amburana lends flavors of cinnamon, vanilla, and soft creamy oak, complimentary to both bourbn and rye.

Aroma: Delightful and sweet cinnamon crumble, crème brulee, and sweet vanilla. Warm and lovely hints of toffee, nutmeg, spice, and french toast. It’s very different and gives you a “Whoa” when you smell it as it is extremely unique and exotic. At the end there’s more sweet tobacco and faint hints of red wine stewed berries.
Taste: This is such an awesome taste with full on cinnamon toast crunch, marshmallow, and gingerbread cookies. It’s balanced perfectly as it’s not overpowering as you still get the nice sweetened vanilla, oak, and creamy toffee mid way. The mouthfeel is very complete with more exotic notes of clove, and vanilla cinnamon icing. This is definitely meant to be enjoyed by a warm fire and a drop of water opens up more flavors of french toast, oak and sweet tobacco.
Finish: The finish is wonderfully long and pleasant, that carries all the toasty cinnamon crunch, with some sweet plums, and hints of orange and berries. It’s a fantastic dram that makes you shake your head in disbelief of how different and fantastic it is at the same time.
