A phenomenal 7yr (95/5 MGP) Rye that's fantastic all around and DANGEROUS for how good it is. It's wonderfully approachable, sweet, and might be one of, (if not THE) very best 7yr Ryes we've ever picked. In a side by side with our 7yr NBC Ryes Like Us 2, this one was found to be sweeter and much more approachable.

Aroma: A wonderful sweet aroma that immediately meets of bubblegum, cherry, passionfruit with vanilla, honey, and grains. Almost reminds us of those delicious berry pancakes covered in syrup and dashes of powdered sugar on top. It's pleasantly complimented with sweet hints of mint, maple, and oak. This one was the surefire nose-winner in the tasting for its richness and liveliness.
Taste: It's immediately viscous, thick, and melt in your mouth sweetness that explodes with apricot, honey, vanilla, and cherry. A very nicely balanced spice that gives way to more richness with caramels, honey, and hints of peach. Tasting it more almost reminds us of spiced creme brulee that's toasty, warm, and drizzled with honey.
Finish: The very reason this was picked over all of the others. It's smooth, long, and coats the mouth beautifully. Seems to go on for days. Nice compliments of mint, honey, green apple, and sweet vanilla with fruits at the end. It's one of those ryes that even bourbon lovers would really enjoy and makes you go DAMN this is DANGEROUS good!
